Our first dive where we were on our own…dun dun dun. We memorized the compass directions and jumped in. It was the same area we did our first dive in but it was a different part of it. We managed to do pretty good with our underwater directions – ended up where we were supposed to and saw the sights along the way. Nothing too major about this dive – was too focused on making sure we did everything right to really enjoy it a ton, but got better at taking video as well although it’ll still needs lots of editing. The only problem we had was Lora needed more weights because she kept floating to the top – easy to remedy though and for the next dive she added some weights.
After getting back on the boat we had just 2 hours until our next dive which flew by and before we knew it we were back in the water. We had moved to a new location – the Whale. We were given some basic underwater directions based on some mushroom looking coral structures and were sent along our way. Again, very hesitant about making decisions for change of direction because neither Lora or I are really that sure at this point – however we again ended up where we were supposed to and had a great time. The highlight of this dive was a turtle that was eating – got some pretty good video of him.
After the dive we dried off and before we knew it dinner was served. It was a chicken curry type dish – almost butter chickenish but a bit more spicy. After filling up and resting a little it was time for the night dive prep.
